Crowd of 47,000 gathered at the Georgia International Horse Park for the event

CTS Audio was called on to deliver the audio for the 2008 Celebrate Freedom festival in Atlanta, GA, this year. Working with Delux Productions, CTS handled all the audio for “the largest (free) one-day concert in Atlanta”, sponsored by 104. 7 The Fish.  Daniel Meyers was in charge of patching the stage, Dave McMullin brought his expertise on monitors and Tim Olson manned front of house. CTS provided a PM5D and a DM1000 for Front of House. We used 30 JBL Vertec 4888’s and 18 JBL Vertec 4880's.  In addition we hung 15 x 88's and ground stacked 9 x 80's a side. For front fills we supplied 4 VRX 932's. Monitors rad with a PM5D and used 16 EV XW12's for wedges and 8 Sennheiser IEM's.

The one-day event at the Georgia International Horse Park (home of the equestrian venue for the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games) featured Third Day, Mercy Me, Aaron Shust, Jaci Velasquez, Hawk Nelson and others. Luis Palau also shared at the second annual Celebrate Freedom. An estimated 47,000 attended the event. The festivities were capped at day’s end by an incredible fireworks show.

With more than 70 area churches and 350 volunteers contributing, CTS was honored to help impact the people of Atlanta with a message of hope and celebration.
