CTS Holds Training Service for Harpeth Heights

On Friday, April 11, 2008, CTS Audio hosted a Training Day for the staff of Harpeth Heights Baptist Church, Bellevue, TN. The hands-on training session was led by CTS Certified Audio Engineer, “Professor” Jon Schwarz. “Any trained audio engineer can tell someone how to work a console, our goal is to foster a learning environment where our customers feel comfortable asking any questions and getting their hands dirty working with actual equipment” said Schwarz. “Sometimes teaching the technical skills is the easy part”, commented Schwarz, “the more difficult lesson comes with helping church engineers and the worship team understand the dynamics of working together.

The 8-hour training session was centered around a Yamaha LS9 Console. John Pope and the rest of the Harpeth Heights team walked out different production scenarios to understand how to best handle the various events and productions numbers that are featured at Harpeth Heights on any given Sunday. The guys were able to learn how to get the most from the LS9 Console, which is a staple of worship serve at Harpeth Heights.

Jon and the CTS Team were delighted to continue to serve the audio and worship crew from Harpeth Heights Baptist. "Our expertise and training are just another reason churches feel comfortable using CTS for all their audio needs. We truly understand the importance of connecting the message to the hearts of the audience, " said Jon with a big smile on his face.

Jon and some other members of the CTS Team took the guys from Harpeth Heights to lunch for a little Mexican fiesta.
