CTS Audio Truck Pack

Many tours this year are working with tighter budgets than in years past. When this season of fall tours go out there will be many different styles of shows but all of them will have one thing in common, MORE TRUCK SPACE NEEDED. Having equipment that is both light and modular can be a huge advantage when deciding which vendor you may want to go with.
When CTS Audio decided how their gear would be packaged many years ago, it was decided that all racks and trunks should be designed to be interchangeable. Working mostly in churches during that time meant that you would be working in tight spaces with volunteer crews. Having equipment that was light and set up quickly helped to ensure that it could be carried in a trailer behind a bus, stacked by volunteers and remain highly flexible.
Fast forward to today and that same design is applied well in what we do now.
Now a majority of the work that CTS Audio performs occurs in arenas and theatres. We still encounter many of the same space issues that we previously had. Now we are working on how to fit a large scale event into two trucks. Our compact packaging is still proving to be helpful. This fall as we prepare to load for Revolve, a Christian teen girl’s conference, we will be supplying an arena worth of audio equipment into 19’ of truck space.
When planning an event considering truck space is just another way to help supply an added value.
CTS Audio welcomes Brooks Abbott to the team. A graduate of Belmont University, Brooks’s passion for audio began in his Raleigh, NC church at the age of 16, and has grown dramatically since he moved to Nashville in 2003. Brooks toured for over four years with Michael W. Smith and is currently in his second season as System Tech for Women of Faith. When Brooks isn’t on the road or in the shop, he enjoys spending time with friends and family and is considered a fantasy football fanatic.
