What Drives You? Gear or Outcomes?

With so many different styles of clients, and so many intangibles, how does one stay ahead of the curve onsite at a show? The best preparation begins at home, in the office. CTS Audio specializes in events that have many fast paced changes between bands, speakers and video cues. What we sell at the end of the day is an outcome. When you trust us to help you deliver that you get a partner. We look at what tools we will need to accomplish the task at hand, within reason and budget. Having a partner that is looking out for the best interest of the show is proving to be invaluable in this day and age.
When we get asked to fill a specific requirement of gear, then becoming part of the solution is no longer in our hands. If we were a company that rented just gear, then setting ourselves apart from the competition would strictly come down to if we could do it cheaper. Our expertise on the gear that we own is what sets us apart from other companies. Our clients have come to expect us to be able to handle the last minute changes that will occur on an event.
I look for an opportunity to help provide this service to our customers. Not everyone is an ideal customer for us, and we accept that fact. We are a specialized company that offers a boutique style approach to the service that we deliver. The customers that have found us to be a good fit become in the end, lifetime partners.
CTS Audio welcomes Brooks Abbott to the team. A graduate of Belmont University, Brooks’s passion for audio began in his Raleigh, NC church at the age of 16, and has grown dramatically since he moved to Nashville in 2003. Brooks toured for over four years with Michael W. Smith and is currently in his second season as System Tech for Women of Faith. When Brooks isn’t on the road or in the shop, he enjoys spending time with friends and family and is considered a fantasy football fanatic.
